Kalvin Phillips was shown a late red card at Loftus Road as the Rs ran out 1-0 winners in controversial circumstances. Nahki Wells opened the scoring amid appeals for handball, before Patrick Bamford misses a penalty to see the Whites leave London pointless. Here's how we assessed the performance.
1. Kiko Casilla
7 - Blameless for the goal, given the deflection and the handballs, made a decent first half save but had very little else to do.
2. Luke Ayling
6 - Had a difficult time against Eze in the first half but was able to get forward a lot in the second half. Put good balls into the box, to no avail.
3. Liam Cooper
6 - Unable to deal with Osayi-Samuel on halfway before the free-kick that led to an unjust goal. Had a better second half than first.
4. Ben White
7 - Made some important defensive interventions against very good attackers. Kept trying to drive Leeds forward in the second half.
5. Stuart Dallas
5 - Given a torrid time by Bright Osayi-Samuel and, on a yellow card, was withdrawn at the break.
6. Kalvin Phillips
5 - Beaten by Eze a few times, had a good tussle with Chair but frustration was evident long before he launched into a red card challenge that could now prove costly.
