As uncertainty grows over the remainder of the EFL campaign, pundits, former pros and key figures have weighed in on how they think the season should be decided. This, of course, impacts Marcelo Bielsa's men, who are potentially nine games away from ending their 16-year top-flight absence. Scroll and click through the pages:
7. Richard Keys - Sports Presenter
Leeds and West Brom have had eventful seasons, but theyre not up yet. Both can still be caught. So how can we promote them? It would be outrageous if those chasing play-off places were to miss out
8. Gary ONeill - Pundit
I dont think you can nominate two teams to get promoted. The best idea, if we can manage it, when its safe for the players and the public is to finish the season.
9. Chris Sutton - BT Sports pundit
"The fact of the matter is there is so much money involved which is why there will be these legal ramblings. Leeds deserve to come up. I know they have to get over the line but who knows where we are going to go with this."
10. Paul Barber - Brighton chief executive
"I think it's a possible option to leave the 20 teams in the Premier League as it is but to bring the top two teams in the Championship up It would be equally unjust for Leeds and West Brom not to get promoted...
11. Darren Bent - Ex-England international
"It would not be fair on the likes of Liverpool, Leeds United and clubs who are aiming to avoid relegation or clinch promotion to have the season cancelled."
12. Gordon Taylor - PFA chief executive
I think it would be unfair, not least of course on Liverpool. But all clubs who are doing well, they would be accused of, 'oh well you don't know if you would have won it or not.
