Premier League confirm new date for Leeds United's trip to Southampton

Leeds United's visit to Southampton in their penultimate Premier League fixture of the season has been given a new date.

The Whites will kick off at 6pm on Tuesday May 18, with the game shown live on Sky Sports.

Match rounds 36 and 37 of the Premier League season have been rescheduled in order to provide an opportunity for each club to welcome the safe return of supporters before the end of the season, subject to the government’s further easing of lockdown restrictions.

Leeds are due to take on Burnley, away, on Saturday May 15 at 12.30pm, before the trip to Southampton and the finale at home to West Brom on May 23 at 4pm.

The Premier League confirmed earlier today that, following consultation with clubs, there will be no visiting supporters at the final two games.

The Whites are in action this weekend when Spurs visit Elland Road on Saturday for a lunchtime kick-off.
