Head coach Marcelo Bielsa has several injuries to contend with, and Leeds will be back to league action just four days later with the visit of eighth-placed West Ham United to Elland Road in Saturday's 3pm kick-off.
Leeds are still seeking their first win of the new Premier League season and sit fourth bottom on three points after four games played.
A place in the Carabao Cup last 16 awaits the winners of tonight's third round tie at Craven Cottage and this is how we think Leeds will line up.

7. CM - Adam Forshaw
Mateusz Klich stands out as an obvious shout to start in centre midfield, or Shackleton, but Forshaw is back fit after a calf strain and looked in excellent nick for United's under-23s on Sunday. He might get the nod to start.
After making his Whites debut as a second half substitute at Newcastle, exciting 19-year-old Dutch winger Summerville looks an obvious call to make a full Whites debut on the right wing given that Raphinha went off with a hip injury at St James' Park.

There must be a huge temptation to hand Joe Gelhardt a Whites debut after his stunning display for the under 23s on Sunday. He looks sure to feature but possibly from the bench and maybe Rodrigo, who is best when getting a run of games, will start.
Whether Gelhardt starts or not, Tyler Roberts looks fairly sure to be in the XI, be it as a no 10 or upfront. Roberts has not had many starts of late and Patrick Bamford has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Photo by Ian MacNicol/Getty Images.
