Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Leeds United highlights: Gnonto and Georginio help Whites extend winning run to eight

United are unbeaten in ten across all competitions since the turn of the year and have already faced Plymouth twice in 2024. Leeds' first fixture against the Pilgrims this calendar year was a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup Fourth Round at Elland Road, followed by a 4-1 victory, after extra time, at Home Park.
Daniel Farke and his side return this weekend in the league, a competition they have been imperious in since New Year, maintaining a 100 per cent record, defeating teams such as Cardiff City, Birmingham City, Rotherham United and Swansea City emphatically.

GOO....Offside

Woodwork
39' POST! Georginio hits the woodwork, weaving one way then the other, after some great approach play by Piroe.
Breakaway

Waaaaayward
26' Miller shoots from range but finds the away end rather than the back of Meslier's net.
Good work
18' Gnonto affecting the game at both ends, tracking back to deny Miller a clean strike on goal. Gets a goal kick out of it as well.
None given
17' Plymouth appeal for a penalty as Joe Rodon controls a cross into his midriff. Would've been harsh had it been given.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALLLLLL GNONTOOOO
10' Big hoof up into the air from Georginio is controlled by Gnonto inside the penalty area, goes round a Plymouth defender and slots into the bottom corner via the base of the post. Perfect start.
