Leeds United fans across the country have put their scarves outside their doors and homes in tribute to legend Norman Hunter following the announcement of his death.

"Boxing Day 1990 I was the mascot and we bumped into Norman Hunter in the car park hours before kick off. He spent loads of time talking to me and telling me to enjoy the day, never met him again but that one time was enough for me to remember him as a really nice guy #RIPnorman"
