Leeds currently have nine senior players away with their countries but striker Bamford has been continuing the hard work in training ahead of United's return to Premier League action on Monday, October 19 at home to Wolves.

The newly-promoted Whites already have seven points from their first four games and Bamford feels the number of international call-ups mirrors his side's progress even if it left numbers very light in training.

"There was only like six of us out there so it was a bit different but I think we have kind of got used to it.

"Obviously at the start of the season we had the international break so we are used to more players going away and I think that's testament to how well the lads have done that everyone is getting called up."
