United are without a victory since last month’s 4-3 triumph over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium but would do their chances of promotion no harm by getting back to winning ways this afternoon.
The Whites’ hopes of going up automatically were dashed due to poor results against Queens Park Rangers and Southampton in recent weeks but Farke’s ‘second bullet’ analogy - the play-offs - gives Leeds another opportunity to achieve their goals for the season.

Hide AdPatrick Bamford misses out today and will be absent for the return leg at Elland Road next Thursday due to a knee problem, however Dan James may well return to the matchday squad after suffering an abdominal tear. Connor Roberts, meanwhile, has been back in team training and looks set to be named on the bench at Carrow Road.

65' Sara left-footed cross, flicked on by Sargent into the path of Fassnacht who can't get it under control. The Swiss forward is then booked after challenging Firpo unfairly as Leeds looked to counter down the left.
Nothing malicious to it
61' Ampadu with a strong standing tackle on Sargent who looked to be in through the middle. Leeds recover possession, Gnonto goes down under pressure and is caught in the face by Sainz's boot as the pair go down. Innocuous stuff.
Chance and Norwich sub
60' Gray does well to thwart a Norwich counter and sets Kamara free into space down the right. One-two between the pair doesn't come off so Kamara finds Byram on the edge of the area instead. Miscues his shot.
