The win propelled Leeds to 13th in the Premier League with 17 points.

Whilst covering appearing on Amazon Prime’s football coverage last night, former Toon star Alan Shearer shared a joke with ex-Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.

“I just love the Leeds result against Newcastle, to be honest with you,” laughed Crouch whilst sitting next to Shearer.”

Shearer responded: “I am pleased you didn’t ask me that, Gabby. No thanks, I don’t want to [talk about the game].

“Do we have to?” he laughed. “We didn’t see the second half. We only saw the goals and they have been stung with the counter-attack.”
