The Leeds United Supporters Trust have worked alongside local artist Nicolas Dixon to bring another Whites-themed project to the empty walls of the region.
The mural has been made in special tribute to a number of Elland Road greats, who have all sadly passed away in recent months.
Leeds record appearance maker Jack Charlton stands alongside defensive partner Norman Hunter and the club's highest ever goalscorer Peter Lorimer - with all three having helped United to become one of the best sides in Europe under renowned head coach Don Revie, winning countless trophies.
Trevor Cherry has also been remembered for his role in LS11 history, having played for the club for over 10 seasons earning a number of honours.
"It’s been quite emotional working on this mural, especially as I’m a lifelong Leeds fan," artist Nicolas Dixon reflected.
"I’m proud to be able to combine my two passions in art and Leeds United. I’m looking forward to everyone visiting it and I hope it continues to spread some more joy around the city."
The project has been backed by local stall holders and market traders since the idea was first coined by LUST last year.
Jayne Hutton, Pudsey Market trader said: “I’m really excited about the new Leeds United mural that’s been painted by Nick. I’m pretty sure it’s going to bring new visitors to the town and therefore will bring lots of new customers to the market.”
The mural is the latest in a number of projects undertaken by the Supporters Trust over the last year and is another nod to the rich history of Leeds United.
It has been funded by the Scandinavian supporters club - LUSCOS - and two local businesses Avanta Care Ltd and Baker Harding alongside money raised from the Trust's fund.
"The mural has been a long time coming and it has taken a lot of planning and time to get it to this stage – thanks to Nicolas’ tenacity and passion," LUST said.
"We really hope this mural, which faces Pudsey Market, will bring lots of new faces and custom to boost local trade.
"We’re really pleased to have worked in partnership with our friends at LUSCOS, our Scandinavian Supporters club who have supported financially, as well as the fans mural fund, and the two local businesses Avanta Care Ltd and Baker Harding.”
Anders Palm, of LUSCOS, added: “We wanted to honour our latest lost legends, especially Norman and Peter who were very close to us and good friends to many Scandinavians.
"We are delighted to support the Leeds United Supporters’ Trust in their mural project to honour these great Leeds United Legends.”
The 33 ft mural has been painted on the side of Avanta Care Ltd building and is the second one to be completed by Nicolas Dixon following the unveiling of 'Bielsa The Reedemer' in Wortley last year.
