Mini Marcelo Bielsa statues now on sale after amazing response to Leeds man's charity campaign

Tony Clark, an Elland Road season-ticket holder from Colton, immortalised his hero as a 75kg brass statue.

The life-sized statue was paraded around Leeds city centre following Leeds United's title win and will be awarded to one lucky winner of a charity raffle, which has now closed.

More than £9,000 was raised through the raffle with all proceeds going to Mind mental health charity, a cause close to Tony's heart.

The statue was sculpted in Indonesia, near Bali, where Tony was caught up in the horrific 2002 bombings which left 202 people dead and many more injured.

Tony suffered with trauma and struggled with his mental health following the attack which he says 'never leaves his mind'.

The van which carried the statue around Leeds was signed by former Whites defender Ben White and Leeds United legend Jermaine Beckford.

After several messages from supporters asking if they could purchase a Bielsa statue, Tony has commissioned a limited number of mini statues which can be ordered online.

Tony said: "The lifesized Bronzed Bielsa statue got an amazing response from fans and I wanted to thank all those who donated money and raised £9734.18 for the Mind charity and for their messages of support.

"The statues are made from resin, with brass logos and the base is made from metal with etched words.

"Each statue is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity and is in beautiful packaging. More importantly, £5 from each sale will be donated to a local Yorkshire charity."
