Mikel Arteta left to deal with Arsenal training ground bust-up approaching Leeds United clash

ARSENAL boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly had to deal with a training ground bust-up between two Gunners players ahead of Sunday's clash against Leeds United at Elland Road.

According to The Athletic, tensions boiled over during training last Friday with David Luiz hitting Dani Ceballos on the nose and drawing blood due to a scratch.

Arteta reportedly sent both players home and the whole group then had three days off before returning to training on Tuesday.

The incident was reportedly sparked by Luiz being angered by a challenge from Ceballos during a training match and subsequently retaliating by sending his team-mate to the floor.

Ceballos then reportedly attempted to confront Luiz upon getting back to his feet but team-mates stepped in to ensure the scuffle was diffused.

Ceballos did not suffer any serious damage and the duo both apologised upon their return to training.

Ceballos was quick to respond as the story of last Friday's alleged bust up broke on Thursday evening, posting on his Twitter page to call the story 'fake',
