Mark Wright salutes Leeds United as John Terry and Eddie Hearn congratulate former TOWIE star on Crawley Town debut

CRAWLEY Town's reality TV star Mark Wright says his whole family will cherish the special events of Sunday's FA Cup victory against "giants" Leeds United forever.

Original The Only Way Is Essex cast member Wright signed for Crawley in December looking for one last shot at the professional game having been released by Tottenham Hotspur as a youngster.

The 33-year-old made the Crawley bench for the first time in Sunday's third round clash at home to Leeds and came on in the 90th minute as part of a 3-0 victory in which his brother Josh also made his Crawley debut.

Taking to Instagram in a post that received messages of congratulations from Eddie Hearn, John Terry, Bobby Zamora and Wright's wife Michelle Keegan, Wright said: " A day I will never forget.

"Today at 33, after much hard work and hours of extra training to make it possible, even if it was for a few minutes, I made my professional debut against the giants Leeds United.

"To make it even more special, my brother and best pal also made his debut for Crawley.

"To do this with him will be a moment the whole family will cherish forever.

"However most importantly, the boys that started that game were absolutely incredible, they beat a very strong Leeds United team 3-0 and every single one of them were sensational.
