Mark Lawrenson lauds 'impressive' Leeds United and makes SHOCK Wolves scoreline prediction

Leeds United are back in Premier League action next week, when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Monday night.

In his weekly predictions column for BBC Sport, pundit Mark Lawrenson backed a 2-1 win for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Justifying his pick, Lawro claimed: "Wolves have been a bit up and down so far and this will be another tough test for them.

"Leeds were impressive again in their draw with Manchester City, and their attacking outlook is going to win them a lot of fans."

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer-songwriter Rema - Lawro's sparring partner for the week - went for a 2-2 draw.

A win for the Whites could see them move as high as second in the table, ahead of a trip to Aston Villa next Friday night.

The last time Leeds played Wolves, back in 2018, Nuno Espirito Santo's side stormed to a 3-0 win, with goals from Romain Saïss, Willy Boly, and Benik Afobe.
