You have Struijk and Llorente coming back but there’s also Cresswell - how easy is it to decide who should play?

“The young players, the ones who are not usually in the starting XI, they should play when they are prepared and when it is necessary and in that process they make themselves important or not which is the case of Pascal. Pascal played because he was prepared and because it was necessary. Sometimes reality doesn’t allow you to manage things this way. There is times when a player sometimes isn’t sufficiently mature but they have to play anyway and the situation goes developing with a progress. The important thing with Pascal was that he became a player that could replace Cooper without really noticing but that happened with progressions and the same thing I think with respect to Cresswell so my desires that he continues to progress and that he can be an option to Llorente and Koch with the same grade of confidence but these are things that from my opinion which is not necessarily the correct one , it doesn’t happen if you accelerate the times but you have to moderate them instead. The most important thing when a young player plays is that they do it in a positive way and the second thing is to try and avoid however possible that the young players take on difficult responsibilities when there are players who are more experienced and more senior that should be taking them on instead. I put the example of Summerville and Gelhardt in the close of the end of the game against West Ham. It was a very difficult moment in the game and it was necessary to make changes in the sectors in which they play. But it is also indicative to reason to defend a positive result which was the draw that we achieved in the 90th minute, where if we had to do it through Summerville and Gelhardt or Tyler and Rodrigo.”
