Frenchman Meslier will make his Whites home debut against the Terriers with Kiko Casilla serving an eight-game ban having been found guilty of racism towards striker Jonathan Leko in the 1-0 loss at Charlton Athletic in September.

Meslier will be starting between the sticks just five days after his 20th birthday in what will be only his third game for the Whites.

Meslier's debut came in the 1-0 loss at Arsenal in the FA Cup third round in January with Meslier then handed his first Championship outing in last weekend's 4-0 win at Hull City which came less than 24 hours after the FA handed Casilla his ban.

Bielsa, though, questioned whether it would be wise for Huddersfield to look to exploit any potential chinks in Meslier's armour with the Whites head coach preferring to focus on talent rather than age.

Asked if he thought Huddersfield would target Meslier on his home debut, Bielsa said: "Maybe, it's an option.

"But I'm not sure that one team make a strategy regarding the rival 'keeper, if he's young or not, if he's new or what.

"As a manager I don't have those ideas if I think in one strategy, like using one strategy regarding the 'keeper of the opponent if he's young or inexperienced.

"Normally you consider more the characteristics of the 'keeper more than the age of the 'keeper.

"As manager you consider if he's good, if he has good aerial play, if it's difficult for him to dive at shots or not.

"I understand the question, but I don't think like that."
