Summer recruit Raphinha was forced to miss Monday night's hosting of Leicester City with an ankle injury meaning he joined Rodrigo, Diego Llorente, Kalvin Phillips and long-term absentee Adam Forshaw on the sidelines.

Rodrigo, Llorente, Phillips and Forshaw will all still be missing for this weekend's clash at Palace but Whites head coach Bielsa said Raphinha had a chance of being involved.

"We are going to wait until tomorrow to see if it is convenient whether we can count on him or not."

Bielsa also provided updates on United's other absentees with Rodrigo self isolating having tested positive for coronavirus, Phillips out with a shoulder injury and Llorente out with a groin issue.

"The situation with Rodrigo will be evaluated next week," said Bielsa.

"Llorente and Phillips won’t be available for the game on Saturday and the rest are in conditions to participate."
