Marcelo Bielsa forced into one change as key Leeds United star misses out against Middlesbrough

Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips has failed to recover from the knock he sustained at the weekend and won't feature tonight at Middlesborough.

Marcelo Bielsa has brought Gaetano Berardi into the starting XI to play centre-half, meaning Ben White will move into defensive midfield.

Phillips took a kick just below the knee against Reading at the weekend and Bielsa had hoped he would recover in time for tonight's clash.

Kiko Casilla has been passed fit however, after damaging his fingers in the first half of the win over the Royals.

But there is no place in the squad for Jean-Kevin Augustin, signed in January on loan from RB Leipzig. Jordan Stevens takes the Frenchman's place on the bench.

Leeds have won two and lost two of the games Phillips has missed this season.
