Raphinha, signed from Rennes for £17million last summer, has taken to life in the top-flight like a duck in water with four goals and five assists only telling half the story of his impact at Elland Road.
The emerging interest in the Brazillian comes as no surprise to anyone in West Yorkshire, that said, it will take a significant offer to tempt Marcelo Bielsa into selling.
Liverpool are the club most frequently linked with the 24-year-old, yet competition for his signature could arrive in the form of one of their biggest rivals.
As per the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United may join the race for Raphinha, if Bruno Fernandes has any input on possible signings.
The pair enjoyed an exciting partnership at Sporting Lisbon together before going their separate ways when Raphinha moved to France.
Fernandes was quoted by Top Mercato in December 2019 saying: "Raphinha, I miss Raphinha.
"He’s a player with whom I had a different chemistry from the others. He understood me at a glance.
"He knew, according to the movement of my body, where I was going to put the ball to him. I also miss him because he brought joy to the locker room. He’s also a responsible and hardworking person."
Meanwhile, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has enquired about completing a takeover at Italian club Palermo, according to Tutto C, via HITC.
The former Serie A club fell into financial trouble in 2019 and have been forced to rebuild in the third-tier of Italian football.
Their current owner, Dario Mirri, has put the club up for sale and it is claimed “exploratory contact” has been made between himself and Radrizzani.
Radrizzani could be the perfect man to lead them back to Italy’s top-flight after re-establishing Leeds’ Premier League status following a 16-year absence.
Here’s a round-up of the latest gossip doing the rounds across the Premier League:
