Goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo gave Marcelo Bielsa's Whites a 3-1 success against a Spurs side that were seeking a third consecutive victory in their pursuit of a Champions League qualification place.

Leeds, though, impressed throughout in what was their fourth-last game of the Premier League season and penultimate home fixture at a once again empty Elland Road.

The contest is set to see fans finally allowed back to Leeds United s famous home for the first time in over 14 months in the country's fight against coronavirus - and Ayling hopes Leeds have played at an empty Elland Road for the last time.

United will be permitted to welcome just under 10,000 supporters for the clash against the Baggies if the government ease restrictions as planned.

Taking to his Instagram account after Saturday's success, Ayling put: "Bounced back in some style today. Brilliant from the boys!! Hopefully the last time we have to play at Elland Road without you there with us"
