Liam Cooper says Leeds United are under no illusions over how competitive the Championship can be as the promotion race continues.

Marcelo Bielsa's side travel to Swansea City this afternoon searching for three points in their push for Premier League football.

Leeds claimed a stunning 5-0 victory over Stoke City in midweek while Steve Cooper's side have won back-to-back games in their quest for the play-offs.

United face another stern test at the Liberty Stadium in South Wales with just four games of the campaign to go.

"I think we were looking at the league the other day and there are maybe four or five teams who have nothing to play for," Cooper said.

"It shows how competitive the league is. It's difficult, it can be but we know we have to move the ball fast and we do that.

"We've got brilliant players in those areas who can deal with the ball."

United made light work of the Potters on Thursday night, with five different goalscorers getting on the scoresheet in LS11.

Converting chances has often been a criticism of Bielsa's men this season, though, but they made no mistake at Elland Road.

“It always will be a criticism," Copper added.

"We do create a lot of chances and people are going to come under a bit of scrutiny if they don't put chances in but it takes so much pressure off the likes of Pat and Tyler when the other lads are chipping in, and we did that.

“It proves if you do take your chances how much it can help you in games."
