Ian Baraclough's side began their bid to seal a place at Qatar 2022 with Thursday night's clash against Italy in Parma in which strikes from Domenico Berardi and Ciro Immobile gave Roberto Mancini's side a 2-0 victory.

Northern Ireland will be back in action on Sunday with a friendly at home to the USA which comes three days before their second World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria at Windsor Park.

"Without being disrespectful to the likes of Bulgaria we have always known that these games are the ones we are going to have to win," Dallas told BBC Sport.
