Leeds United's new predicted Premier League finish with bookies after big Whites blow and major change at bottom plus fresh Manchester City and Arsenal title forecast

Leeds United have suffered a big blow in their bid for Premier League survival and there is a now a fresh verdict as to where the Whites will finish from the bookmakers.

Leeds looked on course to move up to 12th place and five points clear of the drop zone when leading 1-0 through Patrick Bamford’s header in Sunday’s hosting of relegation rivals Crystal Palace only to fall apart after the break and suffer a crushing 5-1 defeat.

The blow left Leeds fifth-bottom and just two points clear of the drop zone with eight games left. There was then a major change at the bottom of the division the following day as Leicester City announced the appointment of former Norwich City, Aston Villa and Brentford boss Dean Smith as their new manager until the end of the season.

There were also boosts for United’s relegation rivals Bournemouth, West Ham United and Wolves at the weekend as all three of those relegation-battling sides picked up victories but blows for bottom half teams Everton, Southampton, Leicester and Nottingham Forest – all of whom fell to defeat.

The Saints were walloped 4-1 by title chasing visitors Manchester City who piled the pressure on leaders Arsenal who were then held to a 2-2 draw at Liverpool the following day.

All in all, it’s meant a big change in the Premier League betting markets – at both ends of the table – and this is where Leeds are now predicted to finish based on the very latest odds for relegation and the the title and/or top four/top six/top half finish to determine the top half sides.
