Mateusz Klich believes that the quality in the Premier League is on another level to the Championship, admitting the top flight isn't as physical as England's second tier.

The Whites have made a strong start to the new campaign, picking up 11 points from their opening nine games following promotion last summer.

Marcelo Bielsa's outfit have impressed with their commitment to attacking play this term but are now looking to kick on after just one win in their last five fixtures.

United make the trip to Everton this weekend to take on Carlo Ancelotti's men on Merseyside.

The Toffees are on a similar run of form to the visitors, but did return to winning ways at Fulham last time out at Craven Cottage.

Klich - who has featured in all nine league games so far in LS11 - has bagged two goals and three assists from midfield, having made a quick adjustment to Premier League football.

The Polish international was quizzed over his thoughts on the biggest difference between the two divisions, and was unsurprising in his answer.

"Quality is the biggest difference," Klich revealed.

"Maybe physically it is not as challenging as the Championship, because there are less games. It seems like there is more space, but obviously the quality is better.

"[There are] better players in the Premier League, which is good because you always want to compete against the big boys.

"I'm very happy that we had a great start but now we see the reality of the Premier League. It isn't playing against Man City or Liverpool every week.

"It also has more important games for us, ones where we need [to win] to stay in the league.

"Our goal is to stay up. Games against Crystal Palace, Leicester and Wolves are very important for us."

Asked about this weekend's opponents, he said: "Obviously they had a great start.

"That burst in the last couple of games. They won against Fulham, I watched the game. I kind of know what to expect."
