United's Polish youth international Bogusz joined Logrones on international transfer deadline day for a season-long loan in Spain's second tier.

The 19-year-old signed for Leeds from Ruch Chorzow in January 2019 with United's fellow Polish midfielder Mateusz Klich later saying that eventually Bogusz would be even better than him.

Unsurprisingly, up to half a dozen clubs from throughout Europe were interested in taking the attacking midfielder on loan but Bogusz says Whites head coach Bielsa favoured his switch to Spain due to United's own style of play.

"I think it was the option he preferred most," said Bogusz, speaking to udlogrones.com"At Leeds we play a Spanish style, we like to keep possession of the ball and play in an attractive style that excites the fans, high tempo.

"He’s a top manager and I’ve learnt a lot from the manager I just feel it was time to play some more games."

Asked how he had found the move, Bogusz said: "Stressful!

"It was my first real experience of deadline day move and I was calling my agent all the time asking where we go and when, I had five or six concrete offers from Poland, Italy, England so even on the morning of deadline day I wasn’t sure where I was going.
