The injuries are mounting up again for Marcelo Bielsa's Whites who now have two of their star men currently sidelined.

Here is a run through of who is currently missing and what has been said about their injuries.

United's England international midfielder was forced to miss Saturday's clash at Brighton having picked up what is understood to be a minor knee injury in training. Bielsa said: "Kalvin received a knock which created a hematoma behind his knee."

Raphinha (thigh)

Star Brazilian winger has been sidelined since injuring his thigh following a rough challenge from Manchester City's Fernandinho in last month's 2-1 victory at the Etihad. Speaking at Thursday's press conference ahead of Saturday's clash against Brighton, Bielsa said of Raphinha: "(For Raphinha) more than serious, it's more difficult to give a diagnostic or prognosis of when he will be able to return. It's a hit which created an internal hematoma. Until that disappears it causes pain and inhibits the mobility. This can be resolved quickly or take longer. When it reduces and he is no longer in pain then he will return quickly. The impression is we're in the final stages before he's finally healed."

Helder Costa (back)

Costa is another recent victim of a rough challenge having been slammed to the turf by Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka in last weekend's goalless draw against the Red Devils at Elland Road in something more akin to a wrestling suplex move. Bielsa said: "Helder Costa received a very big knock in his back and this impeded him from playing the game today. The knock he received was in the game against Manchester United where he was substituted."

Adam Forshaw (muscle)

Forshaw made his long-awaited return to competitive action when playing 84 minutes for United's under-23s last month in the 2-1 victory against Aston Villa which sealed Mark Jackson's side the Premier League 2 Division Two title. But Bielsa then revealed at his pre-Manchester United press conference that Forshaw had picked up a muscular injury in what was his first competitive outing for 18 months. Bielsa said: "He picked up a muscular injury in that last game and this will keep him out for a period of time which is yet to be defined."

BUT back available.....

Liam Cooper (suspension)

Whites captain Liam Cooper is now back available having completed a three-game ban for his straight red card in the victory at Manchester City. It means Bielsa has the full quota of centre-backs available to him ahead of the final four Premier League games of the season and Saturday's clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road.
