Nine days after the League Two Red Devils beat Marcelo Bielsa's Premier League side 3-0 in West Sussex, they have informed the EFL that they are unable to fulfil their fixture against Stevenage, due to take place tonight.

That game has been suspended and the EFL will investigate the circumstances, in accordance with their current regulations.

Crawley will now work with the EFL, FA and Public Heath England ahead of Saturday's scheduled trip to Bournemouth in the FA Cup.

The outbreak at Crawley should come as no concern for Leeds, thanks to the Premier League Covid-19 testing programme which recently reintroduced twice-weekly tests.

Leeds have been through three rounds of testing since their FA Cup tie and the YEP understands there were no positives in the tests that took place prior to Saturday's game against Brighton.

Goalkeeper Illan Meslier, who did not travel to Crawley, missed the Brighton game and all-but confirmed on socal media that he was recovering from the virus, asking them to 'stay safe' and thanking them for their support.

The Whites are without a game this week and don't play again until next Tuesday when they visit Newcastle United in Premier League action.
