The Hammers skipper believes their attacking approach is unique to the division and fun to watch.

"They have been a breath of fresh air in the Premier League this season and, as a football fan, I must say I've really enjoyed watching them," he wrote in his programme notes for tonight's game at the London Stadium.

"Leeds' approach is not what you usually see from a newly-promoted team - or anyone really. They attack in numbers and at pace and it makes for a really exciting game every time they play. At the same time, they work as hard as anyone and the distances they cover have been written and talked about a lot."

Noble insists West Ham can match their visitors' work-rate however and hopes they will show their quality in a game of importance for their push for European football.

David Moyes side sit seventh in the top flight table ahead of the game, having lost 2-1 to Manchester City at the weekend.

"We are a team who work very hard too and, when we do that, we have shown we have the quality to match any opponent, as we did at Elland Road in December, when I thought we played really well to come from behind and win 2-1," he said.

"It's up to us to bounce back results-wise tonight. We have not lost successive matches all season and we certainly don't want to start doing so now. We are in the middle of an important run of games against teams in the top 10 and, if we are going to maintain our challenge for a European place, we need to keep on picking up points."
