Leeds United youngster pens first professional deal at Elland Road after impressive season

The Thorp Arch prospect has impressed in the club's academy ranks this season.

Leeds United youngster Max Dean has put pen to paper on his first professional deal at Elland Road

The 17-year-old striker has signed a two-year contract with the LS11 outfit, which will run until the summer of 2023.

Dean has impressed when called upon for the club's Under-23s side this season, having scored four goals in eight Premier League 2 outings when given the nod.

The forward also bagged two goals in United's EFL Trophy fixture against League Two side Barrow in October and has broken through to become a regular member of Mark Jackson's development squad.

Dean has made a total of 18 appearances for the Whites across all academy age groups this term.
