Farke on Boxing Day Preston defeat

I wouldn't over-interpret it. When you have such a tight schedule, not all the things go in your favour. Sometimes perhaps a draw but also you can lose games. We had to play underload for the whole second half. We equalised, went for the winner, sometimes it comes together, in the 90th minute they put a wonderstrike in the top corner and you lose the game.

We had a bit more time between the games, we allowed the players at the beginning of the week a few days off. Obviously we do this in a good mood and with confidence.

Updates to follow.

Just under half an hour until Farke is in the chair. We're up at Thorp Arch, settling into the media suite, indulging ourselves on the sweet treats on offer.

It's a hard life, sometimes.

YEP chief football writer Graham Smyth: "Gelhardt's camp are under the impression that there is currently 'no chance' the forward moves out on loan during the January transfer window and in any case, a temporary stint with either Rangers or Celtic is impossible because it would count as an international loan and Leeds cannot sanction any more of those."
