Leeds United 1-1 Coventry City highlights: Summerville strike cancelled out in bad-tempered draw
Daniel Farke's side could only watch as Leicester City and Ipswich Town re-opened the gap between Leeds and the automatic promotion spots to ten points over the course of this week. The Whites' recent run remains extremely positive despite defeat at the Stadium of Light, with nine wins from their last 12 Championship fixtures.
However, record-breaking starts to the season by the Foxes and Kieran McKenna's Ipswich means Leeds have had to acquaint themselves with third spot for much of the campaign.

Despite Mark Robins' side struggling without talismanic centre forward Viktor Gyokeres this term, the Midlands club have picked up a handful of good results in recent weeks, including their 1-1 scoreline against Russell Martin's Saints, a 2-0 win over Wayne Rooney's Birmingham City as well as victories-to-nil against Plymouth Argyle and Millwall.
Build-up, team news, goal and score updates here throughout the afternoon at Elland Road. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Leeds United vs Coventry City LIVE
CHANCES
77' Georginio denied twice in quick succession by the Coventry 'keeper. First at the end of a lung-busting run through the middle. His rasping effort parried away, before the cross comes back in when a less powerful strike was palmed clear.
Needs to be more brutal
71' Summerville's shot from the left parried by Collins. Piroe's follow-up is at an awkward height and he blazes over the crossbar.
Sixes and sevens
69' Big chance for Coventry, Struijk left behind on the left, ball eventually whipped across goal and Gray does just enough and O'Hare can't get control of it at the back stick. Leeds at sixes and sevens defensively all of a sudden.
GOAL Coventry 1-1
66' Sky Blues level. Sakamoto's cross is met by centre-half Bobby Thomas at the back post. Soft to concede after good defending throughout. Simms and Meslier tussling after the goal, both now booked. Sakamoto and Latibeaudiere subbed off for O'Hare and Wright, too.
