Leeds United are back in action after the international break with a home clash against Burnley. They then face a trip to Wales to take on Cardiff City.
The Whites have eight points on the board from their first four games. Daniel Farke’s side have drawn with Portsmouth and West Brom and have beaten Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City as they look to keep their momentum going.

Here is a look at the latest combined team news...
Leeds United
Leeds winger Dan James has a hamstring injury and missed their latest match against Hull. He will also sit out of Wales’ international games over the course of the next couple of weeks. Farke said: “Dan James has a hamstring injury and will miss the [Hull] game. He won't travel with Wales.”
Striker Patrick Bamford also had a hamstring injury and didn’t play against Sheffield Wednesday or the Tigers. He could be back for the Burnley game though. Farke said: “We don’t have to speak about the experience and the quality that Patrick has. For him, it’s the most important topic to be fit, to be training regularly, to come into his rhythm and then he’s an excellent Championship striker; he has even proven this on Premier League level.
“He was pretty close to getting back his fitness level, and then hopefully just a small setback because our medical department says he will be out for one to two weeks so not too bad. Perhaps he will already be available for the next game, if not then at least after the international break.”

Hide AdMateo Joseph has done well but Farke misses the experience of Bamford: “We definitely need the experience, we had a pretty young side today and they played exciting football but there will also be games where it is just these 19/20-year-old guys who are perhaps a bit over excited up front. It’s difficult to fight for the top positions in this league, you also need the experience and I think Patrick for example sometimes is underrated.
“He can help with the development of a young player like Mateo Joseph because Patrick is a very experienced striker, just with watching him in training and what he does in the games it helps Mateo to improve and Patrick is also a guy who talks a lot with young players to develop them and we definitely need him back sooner rather than later, and hopefully he comes back as soon as possible.”
Burnley
As for Burnley, Maxime Esteve and forward Manuel Benson are early doubts after picking up knocks against Blackburn Rovers last Saturday. Parker shared this update on the pair: “I’m not sure at this present moment in time, I’ve not spoken to them. Benny obviously just walked off so I don’t know the full severity of his injury and Maxime looked to be struggling with his hamstring, so we will have to check that.”
Jordan Beyer, Hannes Delcroix, Hjalmar Ekdal, Aaron Ramsey, Enock Agyei, Mike Tresor and Nathan Redmond are all in the treatment room for the Clarets.
