Leeds United v Watford live: Updates and analysis from Elland Road, Whites race 2-0 up but Largie Ramazani injury blow
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Daniel Farke’s side will be looking to back up Friday night’s impressive 2-0 win at home to previously unbeaten Sheffield United which temporarily took Leeds second before wins for both Burnley and Sunderland from their weekend assignments. Leeds now sit third, two points behind second-placed Burnley and three adrift of leaders Sunderland.
But tonight’s visit of eighth-placed Watford offers the chance for Leeds to go top with both Burnley and Sunderland not playing until Wednesday night. Watford, under boss Tom Cleverley, will be looking to bounce back from an extremely disappointing first game back after the international break via Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Luton Town.

Leeds team news
Leeds suffered no new injuries in Friday night’s win against the Blades, a scan on Willy Gnonto revealing that the Italian had only bruised his shoulder which he was clearly struggling with in the first half. But Leeds remain very light on centre midfielders with both club captain Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev out longer term as they recover from knee injuries along with Max Wober, himself also out with a knee injury. Wober is expected to be the first one back, possibly before the November international break. Ampadu is looking at a January return whilst Gruev is out for months rather than weeks.
