Leeds United v Newcastle United team news: Helder Costa misses out with just one change on bench

Costa is not involved and his place on the bench is taken by Leif Davis with the rest of the Whites 18 otherwise unchanged.

Pablo Hernandez again stays on the bench along with Davis, Tyler Roberts, Ian Poveda, Jamie Shackleton, Pascal Struijk and Kiko Casilla.

Diego Llorente (muscle) and Robin Koch (knee) are both out injured along with longer term absentee Adam Forshaw (hip).

Magpies boss Steve Bruce has made four changes to his side with Federico Fernández, Ryan Fraser, Jacob Murphy and Jeff Hendrick all coming into the XI.

Newcastle United: Darlow, Murphy, Hayden, Fernandez, Clark, Lewis, Hendrick, S Longstaff, Fraser, Joelinton, Wilson. Subs: Gillespie, Carroll, Shelvey, Ritchie, Gayle, Krafth, Almiron.

Leeds United: Meslier, Dallas, Ayling, Cooper, Alioski, Phillips, Klich, Raphinha, Harrison, Rodrigo, Bamford. Subs: Casilla, Struijk, Shackleton, Davis, Roberts, Hernandez, Poveda.
