Marcelo Bielsa will speak to the media at 12pm this lunchtime ahead of his side's top flight meeting with Everton at Elland Road in midweek.

The Whites were buoyed by an impressive 3-1 victory over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, a result which made it two wins from two away games and left Leeds in 12th spot, 15 points above the relegation zone.

Carlo Ancellotti's Toffees, meanwhile. fell to defeat at Goodison Park with Newcastle United claiming a 2-0 win on Merseyside on Saturday.

Bielsa is expected to issue an update over the fitness of his squad after Rodrigo and Raphinha both limped off against the Foxes at the King Power stadium.

Here's what he had to say below...

Can you give us the latest on injuries in your squad - Rodrigo and Raphinha?

Rodrigo is having a scan at the moment to evaluate his condition. He had an action where both his feet were very wide apart. Potentially that excess stretch has caused a muscular injury.

The other two cases are less worrying.

Are you confident they will be available against Everton?

Two days prior to the game you can't be sure any player will be available. The only thing to add is that the problem that Rodrigo has to overcome to be available is bigger.

The problems that Bamford and Raphinha have are more simple.

Deadline day - you said no incomings or outgoings, is that the same?

Up until now, yes. That is the case.

What about Pablo Hernandez - there was interest from Spain?

Up until now I can't tell you any different from what I have said previously.

How important has stability been for your squad this season?

To be able to keep players for three years running allows you to stimulate habits throughout the time and teach things. They will also have other things already incorporated. The stability is also linked to how many new players we have and how long it takes to adapt.

It is also linked to how many players you have available through injury.

Would an England call-up be good for Patrick Bamford?

This question only has one answer. I don't want to be seen giving advance to Gareth Southgate over his job.

Olly Casey - is he someone who could leave?

It is difficult to refer to potential outgoings. To be able to be convinced of the answer to the question the club would need to know about the possibilities of Casey being away from Leeds.

If it is to a club that he can compete at a good level for the rest of the season then it must compare the similar options in the Under-23s which he is fighting for.

Also with the return of Berardi, Llorente and Koch.

Has your team become more controlled with aggression in the last few games? That seems to have allowed their physicality to shine through?

Possession is a fundamental part of the game. It is not only having the ball for a longer time than your opponent.

You have to see what the team who has the ball is doing with it when they have it. It's not the same having the ball in your own half, opponents half or the box.

With the pressure to recover the ball there are also different ways to consider. In a study of the five biggest leagues in Europe the team who invest the most time in pressuring the opponent is Leeds, but that is not praise or something to single out.

One thing is to press, another is to press and recover to find yourselves in a position where the opponent is unorganised.

The observation you make is true. Us being conscious of the fact we press so much and what we are trying to do is make sure the effort comes through.

Everton - what do you make of them this season?

It is difficult to evaluate a team only on what they have achieved in the last few games.

Even when they lost their most recent games, those are the results but during the games many things happened.

In those games they have shown why they have been a protagonist in the league this year. They are a team with very big players and good players, with clear behaviour.

While they suffer the problems we all suffer, they have absences of players and as I stated I think they are one of the protagonists in the league.

The way they play is very creative.
