Leeds fell out of the Championship’s automatic promotion places on the back of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers and the Whites now have a free mid-week ahead of next Saturday lunchtime’s Elland Road visit of the Rams.
Derby were in action on Sunday afternoon and appeared on course for just a second victory from their last nine games as Ebou Adams gave the Rams a ninth-minute lead at home to Sheffield Wednesday. The visitors, though, pulled off a dramatic comeback, equalising just after the hour mark through a brilliant Barry Bannan strike and then bagging a 94th-minute winner through Jamal Lowe to condemn Paul Warne’s side to a 2-1 defeat.
Derby were dealt another fresh blow during the contest as key man Adams picked up a fifth booking of the season, meaning he will definitely miss next Saturday’s 12.30pm kick-off at Elland Road. He’s not the only one and here we run through the injuries and suspension news for both sides with two more Whites players still vulnerable.

1. Sam Byram (doubt)
Byram suffered a hamstring injury in last week's victory at home to Luton Town in which he was subbed for Max Wober just before the hour mark. The full-back then had a scan and was a doubt for the weekend clash at Blackburn. Byram failed to make the matchday squad but his injury is only thought to be a minor one. Nonetheless, it's enough to make him a doubt. Photo: Ian Hodgson

2. Isaac Schmidt (doubt)
Doubts of some degree in terms of how ready he will be upon returning to training following hernia surgery at the start of the international break. Schmidt was due to return to training last Thursday and didn't make the matchday squad at Blackburn. Photo: Naomi Baker

3. David Ozoh (doubt)
Derby's 19-year-old Crystal Palace loanee centre midfielder Ozoh suffered a hamstring injury in September's 1-0 win at home to Cardiff City and then damaged his quad muscle at the end of last month as he neared a return. Boss Paul Warne then said at the start of last week that Ozoh had trained but "not a full session before there is an absolute meltdown by anybody who reads this." Clearly close but not involved at the weekend against the Owls. Warne said afterwards: "We've got David Ozoh to come back although whether it will be in time for Leeds, I don't know." 5. Ryan Nyambe (out)
Derby's sole longer term absentee, the 26-year-old Namibia international defender damaging the posterior ligament in his knee during October's 1-1 draw at Millwall and looking at four to six months out. Photo: Cameron Smith

Gruev remains out following knee surgery and no set timescale has been given for his return. Photo: George Wood
