Leeds United v Derby County injury news as fresh blow leaves 4 out and 3 doubts with Whites pair vulnerable

Leeds United have a full week to prepare for Saturday’s return to action against Derby County – but four men have already been ruled out and another three are doubts.

Leeds fell out of the Championship’s automatic promotion places on the back of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers and the Whites now have a free mid-week ahead of next Saturday lunchtime’s Elland Road visit of the Rams.

Derby were in action on Sunday afternoon and appeared on course for just a second victory from their last nine games as Ebou Adams gave the Rams a ninth-minute lead at home to Sheffield Wednesday. The visitors, though, pulled off a dramatic comeback, equalising just after the hour mark through a brilliant Barry Bannan strike and then bagging a 94th-minute winner through Jamal Lowe to condemn Paul Warne’s side to a 2-1 defeat.

Derby were dealt another fresh blow during the contest as key man Adams picked up a fifth booking of the season, meaning he will definitely miss next Saturday’s 12.30pm kick-off at Elland Road. He’s not the only one and here we run through the injuries and suspension news for both sides with two more Whites players still vulnerable.
