The Elland Road club plan to wear the strip - unveiled this morning - at The Hawthorns on Saturday with both their home and away kits likely to clash with West Brom’s dark blue and white stripes.

Leeds have a traditional all-white home shirt this season and a dark blue away kit but a new yellow shirt, blue shorts and yellow socks combination - in keeping with their traditional away colours - will avoid any confusion against Albion.

Leeds head the Championship with 30 points while West Brom lie seventh having taken just one point from their last four games. The clubs are playing each other for the first time since 2007.

United have so far avoid any kit clashes this season and were able to wear their home strip at Sheffield Wednesday in September, despite the front of Wednesday’s shirt carrying blue and white stripes.

Their new third kit is already on sale, priced from £50 to £65 for adults and £40 for juniors.
