Leeds United unveil away kit as Adidas put modern twist on a classic shirt

Leeds United have unveiled their 2020/21 away strip for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

New kit suppliers Adidas last month launched the club's home shirt to great success and have now revealed the away version ahead of next weekend's big kick-off.

A press release said: "Taking inspiration from our 1994-96 away kit, Adidas have brought back a classic shirt with a modern twist, based on the famous blue and green stripes.

"Part of the first kit that Adidas ever designed for Leeds United, this away jersey had to look sharp. The current generation will now be looking to write more history in this shirt on our return to the top flight this season."

United could wear their brand new away colours for the first time when they travel to Anfield to take on Premier League champions Liverpool on September 12 in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

The kit will be available to buy online next Friday for supporters, before in-store sales in club shops begin the following Monday.
