Our match report from Wolves

Welcome to today’s live Under-23s blog as the league leaders travel to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in Premier League 2.

Stay tuned for all the build-up and match updates right here throughout.

Wolves boss James Collins has been speaking ahead of kick-off...

“It’s always a tough game against Leeds,” he told the Wolves website.

“They have some good players and they play their unique Bielsa-style which is different from everybody else.

“They’ll play a high press game, going man for man right across the pitch, so you have to be ready, you have to be at it, and you have to be prepared.

“They’ll give you opportunities because of their style, but they’ll also create some opportunities, which will make for an exciting game. But I think the boys are ready.”

So... the headline news is that Rodrigo returns to match action this afternoon in a bid to step up his fitness after a groin problem.

The Under-23s are a much changed team as Sam Greenwood also returns to the bench along with Ian Poveda.

There are starts for youngsters Max Dean and Charlie Allen while a few others are missing.

The likes of Joe Gelhardt, Niall Huggins, Jack Jenkins, Oliver Casey and Leif Davis are all absent - presumably in training with the first team instead or possible just given the day off.

Rotation is policy at development level for the Whites.

Kick-off approaching

We’ll have updates right here from 1pm...

1. We’re underway at Wolves! No red cards, please... updates to follow.

2. Berardi wins it in the Wolves half, about 40-yards from goal. McKinstry to take.

3. Wolves head clear before Leeds come again. Dean, though, gives away a free-kick. Competitive start.
