Leeds United transfer news: Whites tipped to beat Everton to in-demand full-back, Leicester chase Serie A ace

Leeds United's sensational 2020/21 campaign drew to a close last weekend, as they stormed to a 3-1 win over West Brom to round off an impressive return to Premier League football.

The club are now putting all their efforts into the summer transfer window, and it will be fascinating to see how the Whites look to strengthen their side over the next couple of months.

Elsewhere, England are gearing up for next month's Euro 2020 tournament, and Leeds ace Patrick Bamford has been controversially left out of the Three Lions' 33-man provisional squad, despite netting 17 goals this season.

Discussing his decision, England boss Gareth Southgate said: “I think we've probably looked at the squad in March, the basis of this squad we had in March and we were very pleased.

“The forwards we've selected were with us in March. There's Danny [Ings] and Patrick Bamford who have had very good seasons - I've said that before.

“But we didn't see any reason to change those positions from the players that did well for us in the games, the three qualifiers we won in March.”

Meanwhile, Leeds ace Kalvin Phillips did make the provisional squad despite suffering a worrying shoulder injury on the final day of the season, while former Whites loan star Ben White was also included, after impressing for Brighton & Hove Albion in the 2020/21 season.

Here are today's biggest transfer stories and the latest team news involving Leeds United and the rest of the Premier League, as the reaction to last season and the build-up to summer transfer window continues:
