The Whites fell to a 2-0 defeat against Brighton last weekend, and slipped out of the bottom half as a result, but had put together a run of six games unbeaten prior to that match.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men recorded some impressive results in that spell too, taking points from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United.
Spurs haven’t necessarily hit top form since Jose Mourinho left the club, but they did turn on the afterburners against Sheffield United last weekend, blasting the Blades away in a comfortable 4-0 rout.
Referencing that result, Bielsa admitted that he is expecting Saturday’s opponents to come into their trip to Elland Road on a high.
Speaking in a press conference, he said: "It's the same players, a similar distribution and of course if you beat an opponent by four goals, the evaluation increases.
"It's not the same to evaluate them after the [Carabao Cup] final against Manchester City then after this game, the evaluation after the City game left some things but after this victory it leaves a different type of evaluation.
"The game against City leaves certain conclusions that differ from the conclusions that you can make from the last Premier League game.
"But finally the team is not how they were in the last game but the trajectory of their campaign.
"But we can't deny that the 4-0 victory showed they are in a different type of form."
