Speaking to CBS Sports, the Whites owner confirmed he is preparing for the Argentine’s departure just in case – but is hopeful he’ll stay for a fourth consecutive season.
Radrizzani said: "We wait on his decision but in any case, myself and Victor have already analysed the options and what to do in case Marcelo does not want to be with us.
“We hope he will continue but in any case we are preparing the club. [But] I believe this team is not finished yet, [and] Marcelo as well.
“They need to come and enjoy Elland Road with the fans in the Premier League. It's what he deserves as a manager, and it's a unique experience.”
As per The Athletic, there is growing optimism that the 65-year-old will remain at Elland Road following conversations between Bielsa and director of football Victor Orta.
Importanlty, the pair are believed to have held talks over how to “redraw and refresh” the Leeds squad when the 2020/21 campaign ends in May.
Furthermore, the Whites are also working on their transfer plan “as if their plan will also be Bielsa’s”.
Meanwhile, Radrizzani's reported desire to invest in an Italian club can only be a good thing for Leeds, according to former striker Noel Whelan.
As per TuttoC, Radrizzani is said to have made “exploratory contact” over a potential takeover at Palermo.
He told Football Insider: “Mr Radrizzani is obviously seeing an opportunity there and it’s not going to be detrimental in any way, shape or form to Leeds United.
“If anything it gives you more options, players coming in, players that can go out on loan there as well, younger players to get the experience and it’s a business opportunity for a businessman.
“He’s seen something there that he can use and have in his repertoire. It doesn’t make any difference, if anything it gives us a bit more leeway of getting younger players out there to get some experience and it might work well for us.
“People don’t enter into business without looking at certain things that are going to benefit them as well – that’s just not good business. When you look at it with Leeds United, I think absolutely you could benefit and the players there.”
