Leeds United transfer news recap: Rangers and Blackburn Rovers reportedly eye Whites winger, Barcelona forward linked

The Whites are yet to make any moves in their senior ranks but have brought in promising youngster Mateo Joseph Fernandez from Espanyol.

Leeds United reportedly showing interest in Barcelona forward

Catalonia publication El Nacional.Cat claim that Leeds United are ‘showing an interest’ in Barcelona’s young Spanish striker Ferran Jutgla and report that the Whites could pay a fee of around 10 million euros to land his services. Jutgla, 22, joined Barcelona’s B team from Espanyol B in the summer but only on a one-year deal and has made four La Liga outings for the Spanish giants first team since signing.

“To bring in any player in any position that is a player who is better than what we have that player would be welcome.”

Whites winger in demand - reports

Several sources including the Daily Record are reporting that both Glasgow Rangers and also Blackburn Rovers are looking to sign young Whites winger Crysencio Summerville on loan. Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst gave Summerville his first opportunity at Feyenoord whilst Blackburn are somewhat short on options at present, the club having loaned Ian Poveda from Leeds earlier this season only to lose the winger to a serious ankle injury in November.
