Leeds United transfer news: Whites handed boost in defender pursuit, Everton keeping tabs on £27m striker

Leeds United were left feeling beaten yesterday as they claimed a point against Southampton.

A brace from Rodrigo left the Whites 2-0 up after an hour, however they were unable to hold on and the Saints equalised with nine minutes remaining.

Despite feeling like it was two points dropped, Jesse Marsch’s side remain unbeaten in their opening two fixtures and sit fifth in the Premier League table.

Next up for Leeds is a home tie against Chelsea next weekend.
