Reports also suggest the two clubs are still negotiating over a fee, with the Whites in “advanced” talks over a deal around the £18m mark.

Cuisance, a central midfielder, is reportedly on £77k-a-week at Bayern Munich and his current deal runs until 2024.

Dele Alli urged to make London switch

Ray Parlour believes Arsenal should make an ambitious attempt to sign £50m-rated midfielder Dele Alli from North London rivals Tottenham.

He told talkSPORT: “I think he’d be more of a fit than Jorginho, if I’m being honest, and I’ve always said they’re lacking goals from midfield.

“But I don’t think Spurs would sell Dele Alli to Arsenal. I think there would be uproar by the Spurs fans if that happened. But he would certainly be a good fit for Arsenal.”

Seagulls boss Graham Potter worked with the Wales international winger whilst the pair were at Swansea City.

And reports suggest Potter would ‘relish’ a reunion with James on the south coast and could beat Leeds United to his signature.
