Leeds United will take on Manchester United in a pre-season friendly next summer, according to Australian outlet The World Game.

The Whites look set to take on their bitter rivals ahead of the big 2019/20 kick-off with the fixture taking place at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Marcelo Bielsa's men, according to the report, will play two fixtures during the visit to Australia next summer.

The clash with the Red Devils is said to be set for Wednesday, July 17.

Leeds are also expected to take on the Western Sydney Wanderers during the tour with the fixture chosen to mark the opening of their new home ground in Parramatta on July 21.

The Whites last faced Manchester United in a League Cup tie in 2011 as Sir Alex Ferguson's side ran out 3-0 winners with Michael Owen bagging twice before Ryan Giggs rounded off the scoring at Elland Road.

Leeds last toured Australia in 2002 as Terry Venables' side took on Chilean outfit Colo Colo in Melbourne.
