Spanish international forward Rodrigo has not played since the 2-1 win over Sheffield United on April 3 and although he's recovered from his injury, Bielsa could not confirm if he will be able to start at The Amex on Saturday.

Raphinha however, is definitely out. The knock he took late on at Manchester City, when Fernandinho felled him to halt a counter attack, has not yet healed.

"Rodrigo is healthy, that doesn't mean he's fit to play. We will see how many minutes he can play," said Bielsa.

"[For Raphinha] more than serious, it's more difficult to give a diagnostic or prognosis of when he will be able to return. It's a hit which created an internal hematoma. Until that disappears it causes pain and inhibits the mobility. This can be resolved quickly or take longer. When it reduces and he is no longer in pain then he will return quickly. The impression is we're in the final stages before he's finally healed."

Rodrigo has been restricted to 12 starts in his first season as a Leeds player, due to injuries and contracting Covid-19, while Raphinha has enjoyed a lot more football, nailing down the right wing berth for 23 of the 26 games since he arrived from Ligue 1 side Rennes. All three of his absences have come through injury.

Leeds will be without Liam Cooper for the weekend as he serves the final game of his three-match suspension following a red card at Manchester City.

Graham Potter will give an update on his Brighton side this afternoon. The Seagulls were without former Leeds loanee Ben White for last weekend's game against Sheffield United through suspension but he will return to face the Whites.

Percy Tau has missed Albion's last two games with a hamstring complaint while Florin Andone has been out a little while longer for a similar issue.

Long-term absentees Solly March and Tariq Lamptey won't play again this season for Graham Potter.
