Leeds United supporters praised after kitting out Ghana Whites with new Adidas strip

Generous Leeds United supporters have been praised after sending the 'Ghana Whites' a set of new Leeds United kits.

The Ghana Whites are a group of 25 Leeds United supporters in the country ranging in ages from two years old to 50, as reported in the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Now, member Frederick Berchie shared the delight of the group after fans sent the kits more than 5,000 miles.

He wanted to thank fans including Jim McClenaghan for their generosity.

Frederick told the Yorkshire Evening Post their love of Leeds United began after Tony Yeboah's famous stint with the Whites.

Anthony Yeboah is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a striker.

He is considered one of the most prominent and prolific goal scorers in Ghanaian history and scored 25 goals for Leeds United between 1995 and 1997.

The group watch all of Leeds United's matches together.

Frederick told the YEP that Jack Harrison is his favourite player.

He said: "Within a year or two, our colours will cover my village."
