Leeds United have spent £34m to sign Tarik Muharemovic ahead of the club’s second season back in the Premier League - but where do the bookies think the Whites will now finish?
Nine days on from signing Harry Wilson as a free transfer following his Fulham release, Leeds unveiled Bosnia and Herzegovina international centre-back Muharemovic as the club’s second signing of the summer on Friday afternoon.
In joining the Whites for £34m from Serie A side Sassuolo, Muharemovic becomes the second most expensive signing in United’s history with his transfer fee only eclipsed by the £35.5m spent on Georginio Rutter.
It’s a big deal - but how has it affected where the bookies think the Whites will finish in their second season back?
Here, based on the very latest title and relegation odds, is how the bookies think the final 2026-27 will look with a particularly strong Leeds and Sunderland call given last season’s respective finishes.
