Strong Leeds United, Sunderland, Spurs & Newcastle calls as bookies predict final 2026-27 Premier League table

A very strong Leeds United, Sunderland call as the bookies predict the final 2026-27 Premier League table.

Leeds United can now prepare for a second season back in the Premier League, ahead of which a particularly strong Whites and Sunderland call has been made by the bookies in their early predicted final 2026-27 Premier League table.

Daniel Farke’s Whites ended up finishing eight points clear of the drop zone in 14th place having seen their survival secured with three games still remaining.

Instead, Wolves, Burnley and West Ham are now heading back to the Championship from which champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-offs Hull City are coming up.

Boss Farke has already declared the importance of Leeds kicking on this summer ahead of the club’s second season back in the Premier League which chairman Paraag Marathe has warned can often be even more difficult than the first.

Sunderland also face that scenario, the Black Cats also having Europa League football on the agenda after their excellent seventh-placed finish.

Less than one week after the 2025-26 season’s final day, there has already been a boss sacking, Arne Slot relieved of his duties at Liverpool and expected to be replaced by outgoing Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola.

The betting markets for next season’s Premier League are now fully established and the bookies have made a particularly big Leeds, Sunderland call in their early predicted final table which also features strong shouts on Tottenham and Newcastle considering their seasons.

Based on the title odds for team’s expected to finish in the top half and relegation odds for those envisaged to be in the bottom half, here is the full rundown of how they think the final standings will look.
